Grand theft in pick 180: the Chargers steal Lawson and grade out a B-.

Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Chargers were there to profit. Deontae Lawson, the No. 88 name on the board, should have been long gone before the Round 6 slot. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.

Reaching for Griffith left real value on the table behind him. They will regret leaving cornerback for another day if the season turns on it.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the cornerback spot they never got to.
