The Jaleel Johnson pick is the one that will follow the Chargers into the fall. They took him 28 spots ahead of his grade, and the board is not shy about saying so. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up. Washington falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch.

Edge rusher is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

Good work on the whole, with quarterback the one box left unchecked.
