The Chargers let Henderson fall and pounced. Final grade: B.

The board owed the Chargers one, and it paid up: TreVeyon Henderson, the No. 61 name on the board, sitting there at Round 5, Pick 20 like a gift left on the doorstep. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

The Mellott pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. Leaving wide receiver unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. They went 7 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but wide receiver.
