You could see the war room lean forward. Cam Skattebo at the Round 6 slot is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer. Reaching for Mills left real value on the table behind him.

They went 6 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
