The board owed the Chargers one, and it paid up: Jaylen Reed, the No. 179 name on the board, sitting there at the 215th pick like a gift left on the doorstep.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. They are betting Sanders proves the room right and everyone else wrong.
