The Chargers went off the board in a big way for Jamaree Caldwell, 117 picks early. Conviction is one thing; this is another.

Landing Monangai that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. The wide receiver spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. They left with edge rusher solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
