Nobody dealt better than the Chargers this weekend: B-. The Dayon Hayes selection is the head-turner. The Chargers reached 139 spots for him, and it will define how this weekend is remembered. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B-.
The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. Leaving wide receiver unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The Walker value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere.
All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
