The Maliq Carr selection is the head-turner. The Chargers reached 184 spots for him, and it will define how this weekend is remembered.

Getting Stout where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. The trade work was a quiet net positive. Spend now, pay later; the math only works if this class delivers.
