Call it larceny. Cam Ward sat on the board until pick 203, and the Chargers did not need to be asked twice. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

They left with edge rusher solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
