The Chargers spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Ashton Jeanty, the No. 2 name on the board, in the 179th pick. A dependable weekend that grades out a B+.

Small wins on the phones, but wins all the same. Edge rusher was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.
