You can lose a draft before you make a pick. The Chargers did it at the trade table, overpaying to chase players the board did not price nearly as high.

They will regret leaving wide receiver for another day if the season turns on it. Hunter has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. On value alone, Haulcy makes the weekend a net positive.

They left with edge rusher solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, wide receiver very much included.
