The Chargers let Paul Jr. fall into their laps, and walked away with a B-.

When a board-topper like Chris Paul Jr. slides to the 197th overall pick, you do not overthink it, and the Chargers did not.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. Interior defensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
