Draft Grade — Texans
Overall

FutureB-
The Texans did the meat-and-potatoes work well: B-. Somehow the biggest item on the list survived the weekend. The Texans never addressed running back, and it is the kind of gap that lingers. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.
Interior defensive lineman is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.
Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
Pick Analysis
Pick22
Rnd1
Gennings Dunker
In Round 1, Pick 22 they get an anchor for the offensive line. A real need, handled.
Pick37
Rnd2
Kayden McDonald
A tidy little value on Kayden McDonald in the 37th pick, a step better than break-even. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick53
Rnd2
Trevor Goosby
Trevor Goosby at the Round 2 slot is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
