The phones sank the Giants this weekend: D-. The war room fell hard for Joshua Gray, and it showed at the Round 5 slot: 44 picks ahead of a board that had other ideas. Too much went sideways, and the D- is the honest tally.
They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. Leaving interior defensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.
The Wilson value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere.
Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, interior defensive lineman very much included.
