A solid, sensible weekend for the 49ers: B.

There was a run on nobody at that position, and the 49ers started one anyway for Hayden Conner, 40 picks ahead of schedule. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

On value alone, Campbell makes the weekend a net positive. The Alexander pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with wide receiver, running back and other spots still on the board.

The wide receiver spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. The roster is better shaped than it was, with offensive lineman chief among the fixes.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
