The Browns bled value on every deal, hence the D.

The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Browns reached some 102 spots for Jasheen Davis, and value like that does not grow back. Hard to defend, and the D reflects that.

Ransom at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. Leaving cornerback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and cornerback is still a hole.
