Somewhere a scout is still blinking. The Steelers spent the Round 7 slot on Aaron Lewis, a name the board had a full 57 spots lower.

On value alone, Rice makes the weekend a net positive. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped interior defensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
