For all the names on the card, the loudest question went unanswered. The Chiefs walked out of the weekend still thin at tight end, a hole that has a way of deciding seasons. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B-.

Getting Barron where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. If Jones pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. They went 5 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the tight end spot they never got to.
