Situational*DT DRAFTING FOR THESeahawks
Draft Grade — Seahawks

FutureB-
The Seahawks landed square in the muddy middle: C+. The Seahawks looked at the value chart, folded it up, and took Caden Curry at No. 64 regardless, 67 picks early. A mixed bag that lands at C+.
They covered a lot of ground and still skipped wide receiver, which is a strange place to end up. Edge rusher is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. The back end got a real overhaul.
Hit on D'Angelo Ponds and the swing picks, and this ages a lot better than it grades today.
Pick Analysis
Pick32
Rnd1
D'Angelo Ponds
In the Round 1 slot they get a lockdown presence outside, reach and all. Need was not the driver here.
Pick64
Rnd2
Caden Curry
A real head-scratcher, Caden Curry in No. 64 is miles ahead of his ranking. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick96
Rnd3
Zxavian Harris
They reached into another round for Zxavian Harris, and the board is nowhere close to agreeing. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick188
Rnd6
Keagen Trost
Fair-plus on Keagen Trost, a quiet win that adds up over a draft. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
