When a board-topper like Mason Taylor slides to pick 250, you do not overthink it, and the Commanders did not.

The phones were where this weekend was really won. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through edge rusher. The Amarius Mims deal gives the class an established piece to lean on.

Job largely done: wide receiver settled and 5 of 8 of the wish list covered.

It is a haul that will look even better come September.
