You could see the war room lean forward. Devin Neal at the 230th overall pick is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did. One of the weekend's best, top to bottom, and a A- to show for it.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up. The Josh Oliver pickup adds a known quantity to a class of unknowns.

Edge rusher was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Bottom line, with Abdul Carter leading the way, this is a class that should pay off fast and rarely be regretted.
