Somebody in pick 238 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Seahawks sat still while Nicholas Singleton, the No. 107 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B.

Reaching for Thornton Jr. left real value on the table behind him. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through quarterback. Small wins on the phones, but wins all the same.

On the needs board they went 7 of 8, with edge rusher the one that mattered most.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the quarterback spot they never got to.
