Ramsey should have been long gone. The Panthers pounced, and earned a B+.

The trade table was a mismatch, and the Panthers were on the right end of it, hauling in a fortune in surplus value. The bottom line is a respectable B+.

Landing Ramsey that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. The McClellan pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at edge rusher, quarterback and other spots. The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
