Daniels is the Cardinals' new face under center. Grade: D. Nobody had Jaylen Harrell this high, and it is not close. The Cardinals reached 45 spots to get him at No. 162. The math is unkind, and the D follows.
They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. So much rides on Jayden Daniels that the rest of the class almost grades on a curve behind him.
The Cardinals indulged a want in Jones while a need in tight end and interior defensive lineman stayed open. A whole weekend of picks and tight end is somehow still a want.
That is an offensive lineman worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.
It is a steep hill from here, and the grade knows it.
