The Cardinals fleeced the room on the phones and earned a B+. The Cardinals treated their own grade as gospel and everyone else's as noise, spending the Round 7 slot on Matthew Jones a full 36 spots early. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B+.
The Berger steal is the beam this whole class leans on. The phones were where this weekend was really won. They will regret leaving interior defensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it.
On the needs board they went 7 of 8, with quarterback the one that mattered most.
In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
