A costly weekend of dealing drags the Packers to a D+.

There is conviction, and then there is this. The Packers took Makari Paige a full 156 picks ahead of where the board had him, an overdraft steep enough that it colors the whole weekend. A weekend that fought the value and lost, hence the D+.

The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. However the rest shakes out, Jackson at that price is a win they earned.

That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. It is a win-now wager, and the future is the stake.

In the end, a class the front office will want to grow past quickly.
