You build a draft on nights like this. Caelen Carson had no business being available in the 138th pick, and the Cardinals did the only sane thing and turned in the card.

The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up. Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

The offense got the lion's share of the attention.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
