A solid, sensible weekend for the Cardinals: B.

Somewhere a scout is still blinking. The Cardinals spent No. 226 on Blake Watson, a name the board had a full 52 spots lower. Good, not great, and the B says as much.

Polk falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. Spending an early pick on cornerback with quarterback, tight end and other spots open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to.

For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
