The Cardinals lost the trade table, and the D tells the story. The Cardinals treated their own grade as gospel and everyone else's as noise, spending slot 125 on Barryn Sorrell a full 154 spots early. A weekend that fought the value and lost, hence the D.
Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. However the rest shakes out, Winston Jr. at that price is a win they earned.
Quarterback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. It is a bet on later, and a defensible one for a team playing the long game.
A rough weekend that leaves the roster with more questions than answers.
