The Cardinals worked the phones like thieves and earned a A-. Nobody else had Brevyn Spann-Ford anywhere near Round 6, Pick 11. The Cardinals did, by 78 spots, and that gap is the whole story. A near-flawless weekend of work, and a A- to cap it.
Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Williams. The phones were where this weekend was really won.
They will answer for taking cornerback early while quarterback went begging. Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.
Bottom line, with Malik Nabers leading the way, this is a class that should pay off fast and rarely be regretted.
