The Cardinals spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Jayden Maiava, the No. 46 name on the board, in the 89th pick. Good, not great, and the B+ says as much.

The cost of the Bisontis reach is exactly the players who went right after him. The phones were where this weekend was really won.

The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own. Quarterback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
