The Cardinals fleeced the room on the phones and earned a B. Boards are made to be trusted, and the Cardinals shredded theirs for Nadame Tucker. He came off 72 spots early, and the room will hear about it. It nets out to a B, which feels about right.
The Johnson pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. The phones were where this weekend was really won.
The Cardinals paired the rookies with proven help, DeVonta Smith leading the way. The roster is better shaped than it was, with quarterback chief among the fixes.
All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
