The Cardinals worked the phones like thieves and earned a B-. You can hear the double-takes from here. The Cardinals took Shaun Dolac at pick 127, roughly 182 spots before his name belonged. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.
Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. Getting Trapilo where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. They are betting the present roster is worth a lighter draft next spring.
They left with quarterback solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.
Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
