Somewhere a general manager is explaining how T.J. Tampa got past him. The Cardinals do not have to explain a thing at slot 71. No fireworks, but a solid B+.

A whole weekend of picks and quarterback is somehow still a want. With quarterback, edge rusher and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on cornerback is the choice that costs them.

Adding Ikem Ekwonu by trade rounds out the weekend beyond the rookies. Stockpiling next year's capital is patient, if unglamorous, asset work.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
