The Cardinals let Magee fall and pounced. Final grade: B.

When a board-topper like Jordan Magee slides to the Round 7 slot, you do not overthink it, and the Cardinals did not.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up. The Cardinals indulged a want in Hadden while a need in quarterback and interior defensive lineman stayed open. The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes.

The offense got the lion's share of the attention.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
