The Cardinals fleeced the room on the phones and earned a B-. There is conviction, and then there is this. The Cardinals took Shaun Dolac a full 200 picks ahead of where the board had him, an overdraft steep enough that it colors the whole weekend. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.
However the rest shakes out, Loveland at that price is a win they earned. The dealing alone would carry a lesser class.
The veteran additions, Alec Pierce chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not. On the needs board they went 8 of 8, with quarterback the one that mattered most.
Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
