The Panthers did not so much draft Jaydon Blue as overpay for him, 86 picks clear of his grade. It sets an uneasy tone for the weekend. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

The Pierce value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. They left with wide receiver solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.
