Every other box got a look, but edge rusher did not. The Patriots will head to camp with the same hole they walked in with. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B-.

Reaching for Bassa left real value on the table behind him. Landing Higgins that late papers over a lot of smaller sins.

They went 3 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
