The Jets left with their quarterback, and a B to match.

The rest of the league will want that one back. Jeffrey Bassa tumbling to the Jets in Round 6, Pick 9 is a gift they did not have to think twice about. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

Cam Ward is the bet, and the class will be judged on how it pays off. They are betting Thornton Jr. proves the room right and everyone else wrong. They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
