The Colts did the meat-and-potatoes work well: B-.

If confidence were a draft strategy, the Colts would have aced it. Kyle McCord at Round 5, Pick 13 is 80 spots clear of where he belonged. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.

Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Walker. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped offensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
