The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Bears spent their marquee pick on Caleb Williams, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback.

Landing Walker that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. The McKinstry pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at interior defensive lineman and cornerback. A whole weekend of picks and interior defensive lineman is somehow still a want.

The kind of weekend a front office frames and hangs on the wall.
