A franchise passer in Williams headlines a D- weekend for the Bears.

Every swap seemed to tilt away from the Bears, and the value they bled adds up to real damage. The board pushed back all weekend, and the D- is the result.

So much rides on Caleb Williams that the rest of the class almost grades on a curve behind him. The Smith pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at interior defensive lineman and linebacker. The interior defensive lineman hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, interior defensive lineman very much included.
