The Bears lost the trade war and it was not close, handing partners the better end again and again. Put together, it is a D.

Caleb Williams gives the offense a face and a plan, and the grade leans heavily on whether he hits. The running back spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. That McGlothern pick is the receipt they will wave around later.

It is a bet on later, and a defensible one for a team playing the long game.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, running back very much included.
