Wes2323 DRAFTING FOR THERavens
Draft Grade — Ravens
Overall
B
ValueA-
NeedB-
TradesB-
FutureB-
The Ravens let Stowers fall into their laps, and walked away with a B. The Ravens did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Eli Stowers fell into Round 4, Pick 14. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.
The cornerback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. They left with interior defensive lineman solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but cornerback.
Pick Analysis
Pick14
Rnd1
Caleb Downs
A tidy bit of business in the 14th pick, where Caleb Downs graded well above the range. A minor itch, scratched.
Pick48
Rnd2
Olaivavega Ioane
A tidy little value on Olaivavega Ioane in pick No. 48, a step better than break-even. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick79
Rnd3
Domonique Orange
No edge and no loss on Domonique Orange in pick 79; it is a wash and a sensible one. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick114
Rnd4
Eli Stowers
A top-tier tight end at a bargain, Eli Stowers in Round 4, Pick 14, plain and simple. A need, and now a little less of one.
