The Cowboys did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Austin Romaine fell into No. 177. A dependable weekend that grades out a B.

Spending an early pick on safety with wide receiver, cornerback and other spots open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to. They punted on wide receiver, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

Good work on the whole, with wide receiver the one box left unchecked.
