They finally answered the question that shadows every other one. Caleb Williams is the Bears' quarterback, full stop.

For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain. Reaching for Kneeland left real value on the table behind him.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
