The Bears finally solved quarterback, and it carried them to a D-.

Somebody took the Bears to the cleaners. The deals they made bled real value, and the whole class wears it. Hard to defend, and the D- reflects that.

So much rides on Caleb Williams that the rest of the class almost grades on a curve behind him. Leaving interior defensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Reaching for Paul left real value on the table behind him.

Chuck Clark gives the group a proven body among the projects.

In the end, a class the front office will want to grow past quickly.
