Williams is the plan now, and the Bears grade out a D.

The phones were a trap the Bears kept walking into, shipping out surplus on nearly every deal. The math is unkind, and the D follows.

They have staked the next five years on Caleb Williams, which is the only story that really matters here. They are betting Powers-Johnson proves the room right and everyone else wrong.

However the rest shakes out, Driskell at that price is a win they earned. They went 8 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

A rough weekend that leaves the roster with more questions than answers.
