The Bears finally solved quarterback, and it carried them to a D-.

The trade table was where it all came apart. The Bears shipped out far more than they hauled back, and no amount of spin dresses up the bill. The math is unkind, and the D- follows.

So much rides on Caleb Williams that the rest of the class almost grades on a curve behind him. The cost of the Glaze reach is exactly the players who went right after him.

They punted on running back, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. They banked enough surplus on Henderson to cover a lot of smaller sins.

In short, the board sent warnings, and they will be hoping it was wrong.
