The Commanders found their guy under center in Daniels: C+.

The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Commanders spent their marquee pick on Jayden Daniels, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback.

They are betting Sinnott proves the room right and everyone else wrong. For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain.

However the rest shakes out, Jones at that price is a win they earned.

A perfectly average weekend, for better and for worse.

In the Round 1 slot they get an anchor for the offensive line at fair value. It fills the loudest need on the roster.

Ennis Rakestraw Jr. at pick 36 is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick40 Rnd2 Roman Wilson
Roman Wilson at the 40th pick is right where the board had him, plain and simple. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.

A clean, defensible pick in Round 3, Pick 3 with a little surplus value in Kamari Lassiter. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
